A Divine Center of Krishna Consciousness in Aurangabad
ISKCON Aurangabad was established in 2019 with the primary purpose of spreading the glories of the holy name of Lord Sri Krishna and sharing the timeless wisdom of spiritual scriptures such as the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad Bhagavatam in a scientific and practical way. The center strives to address the growing moral and spiritual imbalance in society by inspiring people to embrace spiritual values, righteous living, and Krishna consciousness in their daily lives.
“चेतो-दर्पण-मार्जनं भव-महा-दावाग्नि-निर्वपणं” — Cleansing the mirror of the heart and extinguishing the forest fire of material existence through the congregational chanting of the Holy Name.
Along with the divine darshan of Sri Sri Radha Shyamsundar, the temple holds Mangala Arati every morning at 4:30 AM and Gaura Arati every evening at 7:00 PM. Regular online classes on Bhagavad-gita and Srimad Bhagavatam are also conducted. Every Sunday, at least 200 people participate in the program, receive prasadam, and study the teachings of Bhagavad-gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. Special spiritual and personality-development programs are also conducted for youth, with around 50 young people currently actively connected with the center.
